Dexter D. Tustin, 77, of Champion and formerly of Southington, died Monday, July 14, 2008 at Windsor House of Champion. He was born November 7, 1930 in Hundred, W. Va., the son of Charles and Erma (Rush) Tustin, and had lived in Trumbull County since 1952.
Mr. Tustin had been self-employed as a contractor for Tustin Construction. He enjoyed hunting and horses.
Surviving are his son, David L. (Marcia) Tustin of Champion; three grandsons; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Mayfield of Steubenville, Ohio; and a brother, Dayton L. Tustin of Hundred, W.Va. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife of 52 years, June R. (Aberegg) Tustin, who died June 3, 2003; a daughter, Barbara E. Tustin; and a brother, Delmar R. Tustin.
Services are 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Oakwood Cemetery, 860 Niles Rd. S.E., Warren, Ohio 44483. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home.
