Deborah L. Talbert, 51, of Warren, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born April 16, 1958 in Warren, the daughter of William Roscoe and Clara Alice (McMillin) Talbert, and had lived in the Warren area most of her life.
A 1977 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Debbie was a member of Warren Baptist Temple and a former member of Christ Memorial Baptist Church and First Baptist Church. She was an avid reader who enjoyed working with latch hook, listening to the Cleveland Indians and the Harding Raiders on the radio, taking rides with her parents, and was devoted to all her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her mother, Clara A. Talbert of Champion; five brothers: Roger E. of Champion, Richard W. of St. Clairsville, Jack E. of Cleveland, Tenn., Albert G. (Sarah) of Hopewell, Va., and Robert A. (Lucia) Talbert of Slidell, La.; three sisters: Terri A. (Robert) Cole of Endwell, N.Y., Cynthia D. (Patrick) Hartle of Lordstown, and Pamela Hummel of Bristolville; and many nieces and nephews. Her father precedes her in death.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. James Dittmar of Warren Baptist Temple officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park. Calling hours are 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
