David Mason

David Mason, 75, of Warren, died 3:05 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2004 at Horizon Village Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Warren.

He was born Friday, August 10, 1928, in Motherwell, Scotland, the son of the late John and Agnes King Mason. Mr. Mason moved to Canada in 1952 and to Warren in 1953.

Mr. Mason worked for Taylor-Winfield as the head of maintenance. He served in the Royal Air Force in the U.K. He belonged to the Moose Lodge in Niles and the Model Railroad Club in Youngstown.

Surviving Mr. Mason are three sons: John Mason of Moore, Oklahoma, Archibald Mason and David Mason of Twinsburg, Ohio; and his former wife, Eileen Mason of Champion.

A memorial service for Mr. Mason will be 7:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Jeffrey Wheeler of Bazetta Christian Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home an hour before the service.
