Daniel T. Chegar

Daniel T. Chegar, 60, of Howland, passed away from complications of pneumonia on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. He was born March 29, 1951 in Warren, the son of Michael and Anne (Moldovan) Chegar, Sr., and had lived in Trumbull County all his life.

A graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, Mr. Chegar attended Kent State University and worked 31 years for Warren City Schools as Manager of Information Systems. He enjoyed computers, gadgets, collecting Universal Monster relics and remote-controlled helicopters, and going to flea markets.

Surviving are his wife, Carol (Kelly) Chegar, whom he married July 14, 1973; a daughter, Tricia (Phillip) Dell of Austintown; two grandsons: Patrick and Lucas Dell; a brother, Michael (Sharon) Chegar, Jr.; two nieces; and two nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents and a sister, Rosanna Chegar.

According to his wishes, cremation is taking place. Services are private.
