Dale D Margo

Dale D. Margo of Niles passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 1:04 p.m. in the ICU of Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital. He was 70 years old.

Dale was born on March 21, 1950 in Cleveland, the son of the late Leo T. and Ida Gay Barto Margo.

He retired in 2020 after 31 years of employment from Niles Expanded Metals, where he was a member of the United Steelworkers Union.

Mr. Margo was an avid Cleveland sports enthusiast, especially cheering for the Cleveland Browns every Sunday. He loved being outdoors, from camping to tending to the vegetables in his garden. You could always find Dale listening to his favorite songs by Todd Rundgren. Most importantly he loved and cherished the time he spent surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Pop) Margo whom he married November 17, 1988; 2 sons, Todd J. Margo and his fiancé Sarah Trotter of Girard and Matthew T. Margo of Cleveland; 2 brothers, Leo Dion (Jackie) Margo of Cleveland and Wayne Margo of Cleveland; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve (Janice) Pop of Cortland; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Julie (Dan) Rosenfeld of Altadena, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, November 14, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. The family requests that anyone in attendance must wear a mask.
