Dale R. Lehman, Sr., 69, of Champion, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. He was born November 20, 1937 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of George D., Sr. and Jenny (Evans) Lehman, and had lived in Trumbull County for six years, coming from Geauga County.
Mr. Lehman had worked in maintenance for the Mayfield Schools. He enjoyed being outdoors and working on cars.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Leona (Williams) Lehman, whom he married December 16, 1956; six children: Lila (Gary) Lehman-Mansell of Cortland, Dale R. (Betty Jo) Lehman, Jr. of Burton, Donna Lowe of Warren, Richard Lehman of Burton, Paul Lehman of Warren, and Douglas (Belinda) Lehman of East Claridon; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother, George D. Lehman, Jr. of Willoughby. Preceding him in death are his parents and two brothers, Glenn and Charles Lehman.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3695 Boardman Canfield Rd., Canfield, Ohio 44406.
