Dale Bertuzzi

Warren, Ohio - Dale C. Bertuzzi, Sr., 88, died Sunday, May 29, 2016 at St. Joseph's Health Center. He was born on January 31, 1928 in Pennsylvania, the son of the late Alexander and Effie Garnetti Bertuzzi.

Dale was employed by Packard Electric Div. of GM as a Tool and Die Maker. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and formerly Christ Our King Catholic Church. He was very active and talented man. He was a member of the Vienna Fish and Gun Club and Knights of Columbus #4484. He enjoyed bowling, baseball, trap shooting and golfing and had made a hole in one at Avalon Golf Course. He was known for this craftsmanship with woodworking and carpentry.

He graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1947.

Memories of Dale will be carried on by wife, Mary (Foley) Bertuzzi of Warren, OH, son, Dale C, (Debi) Bertuzzi, Jr., daughter, Michele (Paul) Bar of Bristolville, OH, brother, Louie Bertuzzi of Warren, OH, and grandchildren, Becky Bertuzzi, and, Dan Bertuzzi.

He was preceded in death by brothers, John, Frank, Alex, Jr., and Albert Bertuzzi, sisters, Elizabeth Bertuzzi, Helen Stefani, Virginia Miner, and Lucy Biscaro.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00am, St. Mary's Church, Warren, with The Rev. Fr. Bernard Schmalzried officiating. Services of final committal will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland, Ohio.
