Clyde C. Turner

Clyde C. Turner, 60,of Southington, OH died at his home on Thursday, October 20, 2005. He was born on Wednesday, October 10, 1945, in San Rafael, CA to John and Olive June Slater Turner.

Clyde Turner worked for Service Guide Manufacturing as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Warren, OH. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family and was a mastercraftsman in woodworking.

Clyde leaves behind his wife Ladora Bristol Turner and his father, John E. Turner of Fowler, OH.
Survivors also include three daughters; Shelley Turner and Adrienne (Brian) Crites both of Warren, OH and Hope Hoefsmit of Ocala, FL. Four grandchildren; Alexandra and Hannah Crites, Craige and Chase Hoefsmit. Three brothers and a sister; Rev. James (Marsha) Turner of TX, John (Tracy) Turner of Goldsboro, NC, Becky Shaffer of Vienna, OH, and Kevin (Cathy) Turner of Fowler, OH. Also surviving Clyde are nine nieces and nephews.

Preceding Clyde in death was his mother, Olive June Slater Turner.

Calling hours will be held at McFarland & Son Funeral Home on Monday, October 24, 2005 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at St. Mary's Church where Father Bernard Schmalzried will officiate. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
