BURLESON, Texas - Cliff Amos, 69, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016.
He was born March 27, 1947, in Warren, the son of Richard and Lucille Amos.
Cliff was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his children, Kim (Robert) Leeper, Chip (Cindy) Amos and Jennie (Cody) Durham; siblings, James and Betty Amos; and grandchildren, Haley Butticarlo, Gunner Amos, Ridglea Durham and Gage Durham.
A celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 8207 Summerleaf Drive in Arlington, Texas.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a ride!'" - Hunter S. Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to New Day Services, 6816 Camp Bowie Blvd. W., Suite 112, Fort Worth, TX 76116.
Arrangements were handled by Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas.
