Claudette "Cindy" Smith

Claudette "Cindy" Smith, 44, of Howland, died suddenly at home on Sunday, September 5, 2010. She was born March 26, 1966 in Warren, the daughter of Richard and Marguerite (Johnson) Parker, and had lived in both Ohio and Texas.

Cindy had worked as a receptionist, a dispatcher, and for a cleaning service. She enjoyed motorcycles, and most of all, she enjoyed her family.

Surviving are her mother, Peg Fabian of Howland; two daughters, Amanda and Candice Smith, both of Magnolia, Texas; a grandson, Andres Lucil; a brother, Michael (Maria) Gleason of Katy, Texas; and three sisters: Sherry Prescott of Guthrie, Okla., Chrystal "Cookie" (Melvin) Hetzler of Youngstown, and Cindy's twin, Colette "Sandy" Quick of Warren. Preceding her in death are her father; a son, Tyler Michael Smith; and a brother, Richard "Allen" Parker.

Cremation is taking place. Cindy's life will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Delightful Evangelical Congregational Church, 2473 Barclay Messerly Rd., Southington, Ohio 44470.
