Clark M. Birch

Clark M. Birch III, of Warren and formerly of Calcutta, died from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident near Mosquito Lake Wednesday, September 3, 2008. He was born November 1, 1966 in East Liverpool, the son of Clark M. and Kathleen (Costello) Birch II.

Clark was a graduate of Beaver Local Schools and the New Castle School of Trades. He worked as a welder for Concord Steel. A family man and a good provider, he enjoyed motorcycles and was a former ham radio operator.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Lori (Taylor) Birch, whom he married June 11, 1994; a son, Jonathon T. Birch of Warren; his parents, Clark II and Kathleen Birch of Calcutta; his brother and sister-in-law, Mark M. and Alice Birch of Calcutta; two nieces, Christina and Meghan Taylor; a nephew, Matthew Taylor; an aunt and uncle, Sarah and Rev. Jack Tolley; an uncle and aunt, Edward and Linda Birch; and his many cousins and friends.

Services are 12:00 noon Monday, September 8, 2008 at Longs Run Presbyterian Church, 15851 Longs Church Rd., East Liverpool, Ohio 43920, with Rev. Stephen Cramer officiating. Interment will follow at Longs Run Cemetery. Friends may call 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren, and 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the church.
