Clara Ann Householder, a lifelong resident of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 6:55 p.m. in her residence. She was 81.
Clara was born on June 20, 1934 in Washington, PA, the daughter of the late Anthony "Tony" and Anna Welnick Kurowski.
She was a 1952 graduate of Niles McKinley High School.
Mrs. Householder was employed for numerous years as a professional secretary for Niles Expanded Metals.
Clara was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Friends, family, and neighbors meant the world to her.
She is survived by a son, Kevin (Patricia Benzie) Householder of Janesville, WI; 4 grandchildren, Christopher, Andrew, Shannon and Michael Householder and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband Lon R. Householder Sr.; a son Lon R. Householder Jr.; a brother Ed Kurowski.
At Clara's request there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
