Christian Tod Ward Neff

Howland - Christian Tod Ward Neff, 51 died on July 8, 2014. He was born on January 28, 1963 in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the beloved son of Gary L. and Virginia L. (Ward) Neff.

Chris was a 1981 graduate of Howland High School. He was the co-owner of Neff Rentals and Neff Painting until his retirement in 2006. He was a co-founder of the Trumbull Co. Landlords Association. Chris was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed boating, golfing, watching sports, especially the Browns, and traveling. He was a life-long member of the First United Church of Christ, Warren, Ohio.

He is survived by his mother; Virginia Neff of Saint James City, FL; wife; Lisa Neff of Austintown, daughter; Jennifer (David) Brooks, of Austintown, granddaughter; Diana Brooks, sister; Becki (David) Brown of Marietta, OH, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and a very special Aunt Olive "Teet" Baker, of Tustin, CA.

Friends and family are invited on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home in Warren to celebrate his life. A service will begin at 7:00 pm with Rev. Karen Binford of First United Church of Christ officiating. A private graveside service will take place at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.

Preceding him in death was his father, Gary L. Neff who passed away in 2009.
