Chester Douglas Sparks

WARREN - Chester D. Sparks, 60, died January 21, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley in Poland. He was born on July 2, 1954 in Ravenna, the son of the late Leeroy and Betty (Flannery) Sparks.

Chester was employed by A.J. McMehon as a painter and was a 1972 graduate of Western Reserve High School. His greatest accomplishment was that he was a AA-Sober member for over 28 years and sponsored many members. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan, enjoyed playing the guitar, loved his truck and taking trips to Mountaineer. He especially loved his fiancAC. and her son.

Memories of Chester will be carried on by fiancAC., Rebekah Foulk of Warren; son, Benjamin Klingeman of Akron; step-son, Jacob Brown of Warren; sisters, Sondra (David) Lockhart and Catherine (Michael) Pearson, both of Kinsman, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dawn Renee Sparks and Marsha Ashley.

The family is honoring Chester's wish to be cremated, and to hold a private service.
