Charles E. Sines

Charles Edwin (Sorocak) Sines, 56, of Warren, died at home Monday, October 18, 2004. He was born July 23, 1948 in Warren, the son of Charles and Virginia Merwin (Sorocak) Sines.

Mr. Sines was a 1966 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended the police academy. He served on the Warren Police Dept. for 30 years, retiring earlier this year. He had also worked for the Trumbull County Sheriff's Dept. He belonged to the Fraternal Order of Police, was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed golf, bowling, and baseball.

Surviving Mr. Sines are his father of Warren, and his sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Robert Michael of Newton Falls.

Preceding Mr. Sines in death is his mother.

Visitation for Mr. Sines will be 7:00 to 9:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481. Entombment will take place privately at Pineview Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, material contributions can be made either to the Animal Welfare League, 545 Brunstetter Rd. S.W., Warren, Ohio 44481, or to the Fraternal Order of Police, c/o Officer Brian Crites, Chief's Office, 141 South St. S.E., Warren, Ohio 44483.
