Charles Paul Davies, "Chuckie Dee"

Charles Paul Davies, “Chuckie Dee”, of Niles, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 3, 2017. His cause of death is still pending. He was 38.

He was born on July 23, 1979, the son of John H. and Martha McCarthy Davies Sr.

Chuckie attended Niles City Schools and was currently enrolled at Kent State University for the fall semester. He was excited and looking forward to furthering his education.

Chuckie worked at numerous labor trades and enjoyed working on and restoring cars with his father.

Chuckie loved sports and was an avid fan and supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He cherished the times he spent watching his children participate in sports, especially the Niles Little Red Dragons football and cheerleading teams.

“Chuckie Dee” was a special young man who made a positive impression on his many friends. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him and loved him.

Memories of Chuckie will be carried on by his parents, John and Cynthia Davies Sr.; his wife, Kerry Fazenbaker Davies, whom he married March 17, 2009; sons, Derek and his mother Jackie Massaro, and Connor; daughter, Olivia;  brothers, John (Shelby) Davies, Jr. of Austintown and Michael (Tina) Davies of Canton; sisters, Sonya (Kyle) Kelso, St. Petersburg FL and Theresa (Rashard) Davis, Pittsburgh, PA; Paternal Grandmother, Clarice Davies of Howland; Chuck is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and many cousins.

A special thank you to his Aunt Cindy Cicero whom took him into her home and cared for him.

Chuckie was proceeded in death by his mother, Martha Davies; his paternal grandfather, Charles Davies; his maternal grandparents, Thomas McCarthy, Pete and Martha Rogozinsky; great- grandparents, John and Irene Davies, Hayes and Ruth Ritenour, and Clarence and Mary Volkert; and great grandmother Martha Jones
