Charles Bartholomew

HOWLAND, OH - Charles R. Bartholomew, 88, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born on December 18, 1924 in Warren, Ohio to the late John and Della Means Bartholomew.

Charles was a graduate of Howland High School and a US Army veteran of WWII. He retired after 35 years from Republic Steel Corp. He was an avid reader of western novels, enjoyed taking care of his yard and loved to watch all sports on TV.

He will be sadly missed by his son, Chuck (Linda) Bartholomew of Greeley, CO; step-daughters, Linda White of Warren and Ruth (Bob) Cessna of Champion; brothers, Dick Bartholomew of Bristolville, Tom Bartholomew of Warren; and sister Arlene Morgan of Linesville PA. Also survived by granddaughters:Melanie (Rene') Mullen, Ashley (Zach) Johnson, Courtney (Mitch) Morris, Nicole Bartholomew; grandson, Scot (Lisa) White; great granddaughters, Destiny White, Raven White and Willow Johnson.

Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty J. Brumbaugh Bartholomew.
