Charles A. Anderson

Warren - Charles A. Anderson Jr., 56 of Warren, OH, died Thursday, June 15, 2006 of natural causes at his residence. He was born May 2, 1950 in Warren, OH, the son of the late Dr. Charles and Mary Pond (Hughes) Anderson Sr.

He worked as a lab tech for Warren Consolidated Industries and retired after 30 years of service. Mr. Anderson was a 1970 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, was a member of Old Erie Lodge #3, F & AM, Cleveland Shrine, Youngstown Consistory, Local 1375, VIP of the Trumbull County Red Cross, Sons of the American Revolution, Mahoning County Constable Association, and served as a Past State President of the Ohio Society Sons of the American Revolution. He enjoyed golf, movies, music, and playing Santa Claus since 1964. He had served on several Police Departments in the area

Surviving are his wife Renee (Markle) Anderson of Warren, OH; 2 daughters: Elizabeth H. Anderson-Valdez of McDonald, OH, and Mary A. Anderson of Warren, OH; a son, Charles A. Anderson III of Newton Falls, OH; a sister, Jennifer McGarry of Concord, CA; 3 brothers, David J. and Warren R. Anderson, both of Pleasant Hills, CA, and Grayson C. of Concord, CA; 9 grandchildren: Cierra Anderson, Kierstyn Anderson, Caleb Dimery, Antonio Valdez, Kamlyn Valdez, Kyle Anderson, Tattyanna Anderson, Dominic Bradley, Dant'e Bradley; and roommate, Heather Kellar of Warren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas H. Anderson; and his uncle, Alfred Hughes.

Services will be held at The McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 10:30 AM. Visitation is Monday, June 19, 2006 from 6-8 PM at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
