Casper L. Zandarski

Casper L. Zandarski, 75, of Warren, died 3:48 PM Monday, April 4, 2005 at home. He was born Sunday, June 9, 1929, in Orwell, the son of the late Anthony and Josephine Knurek Zandarski.

Mr. Zandarski retired from Copperweld Steel in 1991, having worked as a rougher operator. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing, collecting sports cards, and gardening.

Mr. Zandarski is survived by his wife, Patricia DeCavitch Zandarski, whom he married December 26, 1955; five sons: David (Cindy) Zandarski of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jerry (Jackie) Zandarski of Goose Creek, S.C., Ben (Dora) Zandarski of Lake Milton, Michael (Robin) Zandarski of Canfield, and Anthony (Jo Ann) Zandarski of Warren; two daughters: Teresa (Bob) Baker and Candace Calkins, both of Warren; a sister, Frances Moore of North Ridgeville; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mr. Zandarski in death are his parents; a sister, Connie Kraus; and four brothers: Raymond, Edward, Stanley, and Richard Zandarski.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at SS Peter and Paul Church, 180 Belvedere N.E., Warren, Ohio 44483, with Fr. Robert Karl officiating.
