Carolyn S. Hazinakis

NILES - Carolyn S. Hazinakis, 57, passed from this life on Friday, August 29, 2014 at her home. She was born on August 4, 1957, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Hazel (Murray) Stone, Sr.

Carolyn is a 1975 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. She had worked as an administrative assistant for the First Presbyterian Church in Warren for 11 years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and computer games. She especially loved spending time with her dog, "Snickers".

She is survived by her son, Christopher Putnam of Niles; grandson, Nathaniel Putnam of Niles; sister, Phyllis (Richard) George of Tybee Island, GA; and a brother, Wilfred "Willie" Stone, Jr. of Niles.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:30 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Avenue NW, Warren, with calling hours a half hour prior to the service. The Rev. Rusty Cowden with be officiating.
