WARREN - Carol Ann McCleary, 88, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 11, 1926 in Irondale, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edson and Muriel (Williams) Carson.

Carol attended New Somerset, Irondale and finally Harding High School, after moving to Warren in 1940. She had various employment including Ohio Lamp, Strouss, Children's Medical Group and Dr. Vlad Pediatrics. Her life centered around the First United Methodist Church Warren, Morning Light Chapter # 80 Order of the Eastern Star, Welsh Club and above all her family.

Carol married R. Robert McCleary on July 28, 1946 in the New Somerset Methodist Church. Robert preceded her on January 23, 2010.

Memories of Carol will be carried on by son, William E. (Teresa) McCleary of Warren; son, Byron R. (Anne) McCleary of Coudersport, PA; daughter, Gayle (Russell Putt) Cassidy of Austintown; grandchildren, Renee (Jeff) Thompson, Michael (Ria) McCleary, Brenna (Paul) Childress, Kristian Kender, Mary Kender & Dale; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Caitlin, Brian, Scott, Jack, Molly, Cecilia, Faith, and Enola.

She was preceded in death by husband, R. Robert McCleary; sister, Beverly Olenick; brother, Byron Carson; and son-in-law, Kip Cassidy,

Family will receive friends Monday, May 19, 2014 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Bruce Irwin officiating. Morning Light Chapter # 80, OES will conduct services at 9:00 am Monday.
