Carol L. (Caraway) Ewing, 60, of Bristolville, died 12:48 PM Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren.
She was born on Sunday, June 27, 1943, in Warren, the daughter of Betty Tompkins Bosley. She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She had been a homemaker who enjoyed the Cleveland Indians, crafts, playing the guitar, and going for walks with her dogs.
Surviving Mrs. Ewing are four daughters: Jacqueline (Forrest) Sonewald of Kirtland, Cynthia Ewing of Connecticut, Wendy Luonuansuu of Bristolville, and Joey Ewing of Howland; her stepfather, Charles Bosley of Niles; two brothers: Robert Caraway of Warren and Patrick Caraway of Niles; two sisters: Kathy Ifft of Boardman and Kay Platt of Warren; and four grandchildren: Kayla and Erin Luonuansuu of Bristolville, and Clinton Ewing and Evan Hornick of Howland.
Preceding Mrs. Ewing in death are her parents; her husband, James C. Ewing, whom she married April 4, 1964 and who died March 1, 2002; and a brother, Wray Caraway.
Services for Mrs. Ewing will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 9, 2004 at McFarland and Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Myron Daum officiating. Interment will follow at Sager Cemetery in Bristolville. Friends may call at the funeral home 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday. Material contributions may be made to the Dorothy M.
