Cortland-Carmen A. Celedonia, age 39, passed away at his father's residence on April 1, 2017. He was born December 10, 1977 in Warren, Ohio, the
son of Michael and Cherie (Drenski) Celedonia.
Carmen was a carpenter and design artist and worked for many years at Macy*s Parade Studio. He was also owner of Portland Fabrication and Design in Portland, Oregon.
He Is survived by his parents, Michael (Vicky) of Cortland and Cherie of Warren as well as his maternal grandfather Leonard Drenski, sisters Tori Piper and Olivia Celedonia and brother William Celedonia, aunts Linda (Paul) Hodge, Sandy (Elba) Chudzik, Patti (Chuck) Reep, Felicia (Steve) Seifert, Brenda (Don) Niska and uncles Lenny (Lotta) Drenski, Michael (Marissa Calko), Joseph (Jeannie) Celedonia, Michelle (Bruce) Saxild and William (Patricia Latham) Mullane,
stepsisters, Alesha and Andrea (Garrett) David and stepbrothers Devin (Megan) and Jesse Wilmouth and his best buddies, (the Doods) Stanley and Maynard. He leaves behind many, many cousins, friends and family and considered John Piper and the Macy*s studio staff, and Tom and Val Engstrom as his extended family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Geraldine Drenski and paternal grandparents Joseph Celedonia and Violet Tenglio.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Trumbull Art Gallery, 158 N Park Ave, Warren, OH 44481 in his honor.
A memorial and celebration of Carmen's life will be held on Saturday, April 8th at The Old Fire House Community Center, 1864 Greenville Rd, Bristolville, Ohio beginning at 2pm.
A larger memorial celebration will be held to honor Carmen will be scheduled at a later date.
