Carl L. Smith

Carl L. Smith, 29, of Warren, died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at home. He was born December 17, 1977 in Warren, the son of Charles H. and LaNell (Easter) Smith, Sr., and had lived in the Warren area all his life.

Carl was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and the New Castle School of Trades. He was employed as an electrician at Youngstown Service Shop. He enjoyed music and being with his family.

He will be sadly missed by his mother of Warren; his son, Derrick Davis-Smith of Warren; three sisters: Naomi (Eugene) Rumple of Leavittsburg, Terry L. Dando of Niles, and Jean Ann (Ron) Balas of Warren; three brothers; Charles H., Jr. and Jeffrey S. Smith, both of Warren, and Daniel M. Smith of Florida; his grandmother, Edith Easter of Marlin, Tex., and several nieces, nephews, and a grand-nephew, with whom he was very close. Preceding him in death are his father and a brother, James E. Smith.

Friends and family may call 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
