Carl Bright Jr.

Carl Bright Jr. of McDonald passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:38 a.m. in his residence. He was 59.

Carl was born on July 20, 1961 in Warren, the son of the late Carl and Hazel J. Tackett Bright Sr.

He was a graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Following high school, Carl joined the United States Marine Corp. and proudly served our country in Beirut and Granada military operations.

Mr. Bright was employed in the construction and carpentry business most of his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on crossword puzzles.

Carl is survived by his daughter, Samantha Hird of New Middletown, OH; 4 sisters, Debra Ward, Joyce (Tom) Novotny, Brenda (Randy) Caldwell, and Kathy Chuirazzi; a brother, Mark (Kristen) Bright; 2 grandchildren, Damian and Payton.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Franklyn and Bill Bright.
