Brian L. Holden

Brian L. Holden, Sr., 34, of Warren, died at home Monday, June 28, 2010. The Trumbull County coroner is investigating the cause of death. He was born May 1, 1976 in Warren, the son of Rex and Susan (Schulz) Holden, and had lived in the Warren area most of his life.

Mr. Holden attended Kent State University and belonged to the Ohio Golden Key Club while in college. A member of Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, he enjoyed cars, poker, and most of all, spending time with his children. He was especially talented at building, repairing, and networking computers.

Surviving are his wife, Heather (Gee) Holden, whom he married February 14, 2003; two sons, Brian Lawrence Holden, Jr. and Alexander Michael Holden; a sister, Amanda S. Holden of Warren; a brother, Jonathan E. Holden of Austintown; three stepsisters: Tricia, Michelle, and Ashley Gaskill, all of Warren; his paternal grandparents, Rex and Patricia Holden of Clearwater, Fla.; three aunts: Darla Loychik of Cortland; Julie Brekoski of Howland, and Melissa Schulz-Parker of North Carolina; an uncle, Skip Holden of Cortland; and his mother-in-law, Sharon Wells of Warren. His parents precede him in death.

Cremation is taking place. A memorial service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 2, 2010 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. John Dudley of Warren Family Mission officiating.
