Brad Starnes

WARREN-Brad M. Starnes 34, died Oct. 10, 2016 in Cleveland, OH. He was born October 21, 1981 in Warren. Brad was the son of Paul G. and Sherry L. Starnes, Jr. of Warren, OH.

Brad graduated from Warren G. Harding in 2000 and graduated in 2014 from Kent State University with a BS in Math.
Brad loved all sports and played on the WGH baseball team and was also on the Swim Team. He continued to play softball, golf, bowl and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Brad also loved the OSU Buckeyes and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He was thrilled with the Cavaliers Championship and excited about the Indians 2016 season.

Brad also was a member of The Salvation Army of Warren and enjoyed his volunteer days helping with the Christmas feeding program and helping on the Disaster Canteen. He was proud to have family members as ministers in the Salvation Army.

Brad was very proud and loved his brothers Brian (Kelli) Starnes, Hilliard, OH and Benjamin (Michelle) Starnes, McDonald, OH and will be missed by his long time special friend Nichole Stein and many cousins and extended family members.

He loved and cherished his nieces and nephews Brielle, Trevor, Anthony and Mia. Uncle Ron (Margaret) Starnes, NY, NY; Aunt Barb (Tom) Duperree, Philadelphia; Aunt Stacey (Jeff) Madison, Hilliard,OH as well as Uncle Bob McCloud, Warren and Uncle David McCloud (Dori), Warren.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Camden and Una McCloud Wolfe, cousin Bobby McCloud, Jr.; cousin James "Bud" Van Pelt.

Brad is survived by his parents, Paul G. and Sherry L. Starnes, Jr.; grandparents, Paul G. and Norma J. Starnes, Sr. of Warren; brother's Brian and Benjamin.

Service will be held 6:00 pm Friday, October 14th at McFarland & Son Funeral Services, 271 North Park Ave., Warren, Mrs. Major Joan Brewer, a retired Salvation Army Officer will officiate. Brad's family will gather to meet friends and family 4:00 pm till 6:00 pm at the funeral home.

Brad will be missed by all that knew him and most important to always be remembered as a soft hearted, gentle soul that he was.
