Beverly P. Crowe

Beverly P. Crowe, 74, of Howland, passed away Friday, February 23, 2007 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born September 2, 1932 in Warren, the daughter of Carl and Verna (Harding) Jones, and had lived in the Warren area all her life.

Mrs. Crowe was a 1950 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. She worked for Peerless Winsmith as an executive secretary, retiring in 1996 after 21 years of employment. More recently, she retired from her part-time position at Sears. She was an avid fan of the Indians and Cavaliers, and greatly enjoyed being with her family.

Surviving are her four children: Robert L. (Karen) Crowe of Twinsburg, Lynn A. (Steven) Bankes of La Crosse, Wis., Leslie J. (Michael) Davis of Manchester, Tenn., and William K. (Rebecca) Crowe of Middleburg, Fla.; ten grandchildren: Bobby, Kyle, Courtney, Andrea, Adam, Brian, Christopher, Shelby, Kevin, and Matthew; two great-grandchildren: Jade and Jetta; a sister, Mary Jane Jones of Glen Ellen, Calif.; and a brother, Robert S. (Barbara) Jones of Akron. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, William E. Crowe, whom she married April 6, 1957 and who died December 29, 2001; a grandson, Ryan Crowe; three sisters: Miriam Hawkins, Jeanne Totterdale, and Carolyn Deehr; and two brothers, Carl and Kenneth Jones.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Interment of ashes will follow at Howland Township Cemetery. Friends may call 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Beverly's bright and cheerful spirit will be missed by family and friends.
