Betty J. Oaks of Niles, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at 9:24 pm in Niles. She was 91.
Betty was born in Little Washington, PA on January 7, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Margaret Phillips Goodhart.
She was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School. Mrs. Oaks was a loving homemaker.
Betty enjoyed traveling, mainly camping with her husband and loving family.
Her husband, Olen Oaks, whom she married December 23, 1946, passed away in December of 2011.
She is survived by a son, Larry (Nancy) Oaks of Madison, WI; a sister, Billie Goodhart of Niles; 2 grandchildren, Clare (Ashish) Raj and Chloe (Gus) Fennell; 3 great grandchildren, Ronin, Colin, and Caroline.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
