Betty J. Bartholomew

Betty J. Bartholomew, age 77, 8129 Englewood Drive N.E., Warren, Ohio, passed away March 21, 2004.

She was born April 4, 1926 in Mount Carroll, Illinois to Russell and Mary Josephine Rogers Brumbaugh.

She married Charles R. Bartholomew on August 4, 1951. She is survived by her husband, Charles R. Bartholomew of Warren; daughter Linda White of Warren; daughter Ruth Ann Cessna and husband Robert Cessna of Warren; and son, Chuck and daughter-in-law Linda Bartholomew of Greeley, Colorado; eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Richard L. Brumbaugh and his wife Jane of Lake Alfred, Florida; a sister, Faye Beck of Lakeland, Florida; many nieces and nephews, including Elaine Beck and her husband Robbie Croom; Richard Beck and his wife Susie; Kenny Beck and his wife Christine; and Becky Benjamin and her husband Barry.

She was a wonderful caregiver and had a heart of gold. She was a talented seamstress and made beautiful quilts. She collected cows, and her collection numbered over a thousand. She spent many winters in Florida and summers in Colorado. She enjoyed going to garage sales, family reunions, camping, and traveling. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be dearly missed.
