Betty L. Bartholomew

Betty Lou Bartholomew, 75, of Bristolville, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Omni Manor in Youngstown. She was born August 25, 1931 in Warren, the daughter of Leo and Fern (Helms) Weaver, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.

Mrs. Bartholomew enjoyed baking and watching TV. She was a member of North Bristol Christian Church.

Surviving are her husband, Richard A. Bartholomew, whom she married November 2, 1967; four children: Linda (Frank) Armstrong of Warren, Sue (Nick) Coliadis of Florida, John (Chiry) Schier of Southington, and Jill (John) Steenge of Austintown; a stepson, Martin Bartholomew of Bristolville; nine grandchildren: April Nemerosky, Frank Armstrong, Christopher Steenge, Christina (Shawn) Sallugtio, Nicole (Rich) Darling, Gus and Jared Coliadis, and Amy and Matthew Bartholomew; and five great-grandchildren: David and Kristen Nemerosky, Alexander and Jacob Sallugtio, and Gavin Darling. Preceding her in death are her parents; two stepsons, Doug and Allan Bartholomew; a grandson, John Steenge; and a sister, Carolyn Yarnell.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 12, 2007 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Dale Briggs of North Bristol Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow at Sager Cemetery in Bristolville. Friends may call 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday and 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
