Beatrice Mozingo

Beatrice Mozingo, 83, formerly of 1624 Sheridan Ave. N.E., Warren, passed away Friday July 4, 2003, at Ridge Crest Care Center.
Born July 25, 1919, in Alliance, Ohio, she was the daughter of George and Ella Schwyhart Leasure.
Coming to Warren from Alliance in 1936, she graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1938.
Beatrice married Hobart Mozingo March 4, 1945, in Tallahassee, Fla. She was a member of Central Christian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Bea was employed by Echo Lanes Bowling Alley as a desk clerk for 14 years in 1980.
She enjoyed bowling, golf, and playing cards.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Patricia DeMattio; a granddaughtr, Lisa DeMattio; a niece, Carol Sue Ammons, whom she raised; and a grandniece, Tamela Newmiller, all of Warren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Murphy and Ruth Spade, and a grandson, Michael DeMattio.
Calling hours will be held at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 N. Park Ave., Warren, from 5 to 7PM, Sunday, July 6, 2003 and one hour prior to the 11:00 AM funeral services Monday, July 7, 2003.
