Beatrice "Sue" Hardman

Beatrice "Sue" Hardman, 88, of Warren, died Monday, August 23, 2010 at Community Skilled Health Care Centre. She was born September 28, 1921 in Niles, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Runker) Bender, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.

A graduate of Niles McKinley High School, Mrs. Hardman had worked as a supervisor for United Telephone. A member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, she enjoyed volunteer work and belonged to the Good Timers Club, 50 Plus Club, and the Pioneer Club.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Roger Barbe of Plano, Tex.; and three grandchildren: Kevin (Haley), Keith, and Kristen Barbe. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, John H. "Jack" Hardman, whom she married November 15, 1947 and who died May 8, 2000; one sister; and four brothers.

According to her wishes, cremation is taking place. Private services and burial will take place at Crown Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1401 Moncrest N.W., Warren, Ohio 44485.
