Barbara G. Kennedy

Barbara G. Kennedy, 55, of Girard, died Friday, December 28, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. She was born March 22, 1952 in Salem, the daughter of Gene Ross and Beatrice (Fites) Davis.

Mrs. Kennedy worked as a medical coder for Medfield Solutions. She enjoyed camping, her grandchildren, and her husband's motorcycle.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Gary R. Kennedy, whom she married April 2, 1992; three sons: Mark A. Pitts of York, Pa., Kevin Morrison Pitts of Akron, and Sean Christopher Pitts of Girard; five grandchildren: Andrew, Stephanie, Kimberly, Ethan, and Emma Pitts; and a sister, Lois Ann Miller of Pennsylvania. Preceding her in death are her parents and a son, Jeffrey Wayne Pitts.

According to her wishes, cremation is taking place. Services will be private.
