Barbara Ann Hufford

Barbara Ann Hufford, 78, passed away Tuesday morning, February 21, 2012, at Shepherd of the Valley, Howland.

She was born in Mendon, Ohio on January 5, 1934, the daughter of Robert and Thelma (Freeze) Hackworth.

Barb was an Indians Fan and enjoyed her family, bowling, fishing and playing bingo. She was a longtime member of TOPS OH 1165 and became a KOPS in 2011.

She worked for many years in the food service industry at Warren General Hospital, Champion School cafeterias, Laurel Lanes and Echo Lanes bowling alleys, and at her own restaurant stand at the Champion Flea Market.

She will be sadly missed by her husband of 60 years Robert; three sons Wayne Hufford, Bill (Denise) Hufford, Tim Hufford; two daughters Barbara (Victor) Burnett, Linda (David) Stanford; five grandsons Vince (Nichole) Burnett, William (Sara) Stanford, Robert (Amy) Stanford, Tony (Maggie) Hufford, Paul (Nicki) Hufford, two granddaughters Theresa (David) Williamson, Kelly (Jesse) Kuehl and seven great grandchildren Carter, Madison, Grace, Lyric, Alex, William, Sophie.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her sisters, Sarah Lee McNeilan Cox, Lucille Jean Toth and grandson Danny Hufford.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, February 24, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 309 N. Park Ave, Warren followed by a celebration of her life in the church hall.
