Audrey J. Minton, 86, of Lordstown, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at Humility House in Austintown. She was born September 26, 1923 in McKeesport, Pa., the daughter of Edmund C. and Florence M. (Galley) Morrow, and had lived in Trumbull County, Ohio most of her life.

A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Mrs. Minton worked for Mullins Manufacturing during World War II. Later, she joined her husband in the family company, ADS Machinery in Warren. A longtime contributing member of Lordstown Lutheran Church, she enjoyed cooking, decorating, reading, traveling, and animals.

Surviving are three children: Dale C. (Marsha) Minton of Lordstown, Randie R. (Patrick) Morgan of Lewis Center, Ohio, and Pamela A. (Tony) Schofer of Lordstown; nine grandchildren: Lindsay B. (Jim) Adams, Lauryn B. Gintert, Andrew C. Minton, Dylan T. and Tanner W. Adamson, Kyle M. (Jen), Jacob A., and Katie M. Schofer, and Brittney M. Duley; and three great-grandchildren: J.T. and Quintin F.A. Adams and Wyatt C. Hanshaw. Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Carl H. Minton, whom she married June 4, 1954 and who died February 14, 2000; and a brother, Robert C. Morrow, who died in 2002.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Lordstown Lutheran Church, 5615 Palmyra Rd. S.W., Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Steve Ritter officiating. Private interment will take place at Lordstown Village Cemetery. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Material contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare League, 545 Brunstetter Rd. S.W., Warren, Ohio 44481.
