Audrey I. Everett

WARREN - Audrey I. Everett, 84, died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital after a long illness. She was born on December 24, 1929 in Cortland, OH, the daughter of the late Harry and Frances Klingensmith.

Audrey was a graduate of Cortland High School, and worked for 24 years in food service for the Warren City Schools as a dietitian. Some of her many pleasures were spending time with family and friends, crocheting, and staying current with modern technology. She especially enjoyed playing games on her tablet. She was a big sports fan and enjoyed watching it on TV whenever she could.

Memories of Audrey will be carried on by daughters, Peggy Cooks of Warren, with whom she made her home, Brenda (Vaughn) Everett of Brookville, PA; grandchildren: Marlin L. Cooks of Warren; Monique Nicole Cooks of Arlington, TX, and Martin Saenz of Warren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Quintin I. Everett and son-in-law, Marion "Bobby" Cooks.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Noon at McFarland and Son Funeral Home in Warren with Rev. Glenn Hamilton officiating. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Final committal services will follow with a procession to North Jackson Cemetery.
