Audrey O. Bowman of Howland left this world Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 7:00 am at her residence. Her final days were spent surrounded by her loving family. She was 94.
Audrey was born on December 4, 1926, in a farmhouse near Hope, Kansas, the 8th of the 11 children to William and Dora Morse Wagner.
Mrs. Bowman graduated from Hope Rural High School in 1944. She was of Christian Faith.
On May 29, 1948, Audrey married the love of her life, Donald E. Bowman, who sadly passed away on August 20, 2006.
She worked for United Utilities Inc. in Abilene, Kan., Wichita Medical Clinic in Wichita, Kan., and Power and Light in Salina Kan. After moving to Ohio in 1964, she was employed by General Motors Packard Electric as a conveyor operator until her retirement in 1989.
Her hobbies included traveling, stage plays, music, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved attending the American Saddlebred Horse shows and going to happy hour with her many friends.
Audrey leaves behind a brother Dwayne Wagner of Bremerton, WA; 10 grandchildren, Kevin Rosenberger of Niles, Lisa (Robert) LaBanc of Howland, Dawn Zinni-Peyton (Eric Peyton) of Cortland, Chance (Christy) Schrecengost of Cleveland, Heather Bowman of Howland, Cristal Dongilli of Florida, Jenelle Bowman and Cody Bowman both of Colorado, Danette Travis and Christine Dombroski both of Florida; and 2 daughters-in-law, Kim Bowman of Howland and Sharon Bowman of Colorado; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Bowman was preceded in death by 2 sons Donald “Gary” Bowman and Shawn W. Bowman; and a daughter Collete Schrecengost; and 9 siblings.

A memorial service will be held Friday, August 6, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446. Calling hours will be 1 hour prior to the service.
Inurnment will be at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio.
