Arlis C. “Bert” Walker Jr. of Warren, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 10:15 a.m. in his residence. He is 61.
Mr. Walker was born in Warren on September 29, 1955, the son of Arlis C. and Ann Lee Woods Walker Sr.
He was a graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. Arlis was employed at Vernon’s Rental for 18 years, where he performed various jobs for the company.
Arlis was kind hearted and was always there for everyone. He enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was on cars especially classic cars, or building things around his home.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Barbara Turner Walker whom he married in 2007; His mother, Ann Walker of Warren; 6 siblings, Missy (Thomas) Elder of Warren, Kathy (John) Morey of Howland, Linda (Danny) Trisler of Warren, Chris Walker of Warren, Kristy (Ron) Greene of Warren, and Arlis (Michelle) Walker of Champion.
In addition to his father, Arlis was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Walker; 2 sister, Clara Porter and Nancy Walker-Talley; his mother-in-law Virginia Bazar.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services LLC 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446 with Rev. Curtis Miller, pastor of New Hope United Methodist Church. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service.
