Anthony T. Semeraro

Anthony Semeraro, 91, died Monday, September 18, 2006 at Meadowbrook Manor Nursing Home in Hartford. He was born January 18, 1915 in Niles, the son of Salvadore and Carmela Semeraro.

Mr. Semeraro worked as an assembler at the Dodge Main Plant in Michigan, and had earlier worked as a Merchant Marine. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Helen Flis Semeraro of Detroit, Mich., whom he married June 23, 1949; two sons: Anthony J. Semeraro of Detroit, Mich., and Frank J. Semeraro of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and a brother, George (Helen) Semeraro of Youngstown. Preceding him in death are his parents; a son, Samuel Semeraro; one sister; and several brothers.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Fr. James Walker officiating.
