Annette B. Mikulan, 86, of Warren, died peacefully Friday, December 16, 2011 at home. She was born April 25, 1925 in Warren, the daughter of Matthew and Eleanora (Bevelaqua) Cionfoli, and had lived in Trumbull County all her life.
An entertaining, vivacious woman, Mrs. Mikulan was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and had worked as a buyer for Strouss's Department Store. A member of First Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, and the Kentucky Derby. She loved telling jokes and spending time with her many friends.
Surviving is her daughter, Melanie M. Mikulan-Carrier (John Carrier) of Howland. Preceding her in death are her husband, Anthony C. Mikulan, whom she married March 19, 1953 and who died June 8, 2002; and a son, Matthew "Mark" Mikulan.
Services are 12:00 noon Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Rusty Cowden officiating. Her urn will be laid to rest in the First Presbyterian Church columbarium. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wedensday at the church. Material contributions may be made either to First Presbyterian Church, 256 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren, Ohio 44483, or to Ohio's Choice Hospice, 1520 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio 44483.
