Anna Marie Wolf of Niles passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with her family by her side. She was 88.
Anna was born in South Philadelphia on March 8, 1931, the daughter of the late Jennie Laterza.
She attended secondary education in South Philadelphia School System.
Earlier in life, Anna was employed at Rainbow Lanes and Wayside Restaurant for many years. Anna and her husband also owned and operated Anna’s Creamy Top on Vienna Ave. in Niles. The business was a staple of the Niles community and many children and families have fond memories.
Mrs. Wolf was an active member of Grace Baptist Church in Champion. She participated in various retreats and singing in the choir. Anna was a proud participant in the Relay for Life, she loved to dance and listen to music, and walk at the mall or the local park with friends. Anna was the type of person the saw the best in everyone and was constantly doing for others. She cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Her husband, John H. Wolf, whom she married August 9, 1952, passed away on September 6, 2009.
She is survived by 4 children, Donald L. (Denise) Wolf Sr. of Niles, Mark T. (Susan) Wolf of Niles, Gary R. Wolf of Warren, and Melissa Wolf (James Leeper Jr.) of Niles; siblings, Mary, Catherine, Adeline and Walter all of New Jersey; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; Anna is also survived by her four legged companion, a Shih Tzu named Gizmo.
In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by a grandchild, Andrea Wolf; a brother Charles; 3 sisters, Jean, Dorothy, and Rose.

Calling hours will be on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019 in the funeral home with Rev. Kyle Tennant.
Internment will take place in Meadow Brook Memorial Park.
