Ann K. David

Ann K. David, 88, of Warren, died at Gilette Nursing Home, Thursday, December 25, 2008. She was born June 24, 1920 in Clymer, PA, the daughter of Steve and Anna (Zrelock) Knapic.

Mrs. David had been a lifelong Warren resident, graduating from Howland High School before going on to complete beauty school training. Ann then opened the first beauty salon in Howland, Ann David's Beauty Salon which she operated for several years before moving her business to her home. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, sewing and her pets.

She will be sadly missed by her two sons: Theodore George "Ted" (Lou Ann) David of Cortland and Michael Gregory David of Warren; five grandchildren: Christine Bernhart, Leslie Ann David, Suzanne David, Steve David, and Stephanie Ann Kromer; three great-grandchildren: Lauren Alexis Kromer, Hannah Bernhart, and Grace Bernhart; and a brother, George (Josephine) Knapic. Preceding her in death are her husband, John David, whom she married June 14, 1941, a son, Fred David, three sisters, Mary Morris, Helen Craig, Margaret Stella, and two brothers, Steve Knapic and Mike Knapic.

Services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, with Fr. Robert Karl officiating. Friends may call 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Ave, Warren, Ohio and 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. before the service at the church.
