Angus Sinclair Ferguson

Angus Sinclair Ferguson, 85, of Warren, OH passed away at 6:05 AM, on Tuesday, September 13, 2005.

Angus was born on Friday, June 11, 1920, in Dunfirmline, Scotland to Charles and Helen McBeath Ferguson.

Angus was a 1938 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended Youngstown State University. He was a WWII Army veteran serving from July 8, 1942 till October 25, 1945.

Angus worked as an Industrial Engineer for Mullins Manufacturing, and retired from Ernest Beachley Consulting Firm in 1980. Mr. Ferguson was also co-owner of Roberta's in downtown Warren until 1995.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warren,the Buckeye Club, Trumbull County Country Club, and Jr. Achievment. He was an avid golfer having 3 Holes-in-One.

Angus leaves his wife Roberta (Dively) Ferguson whom he married on November 28, 1942, a son David S. Ferguson and daughter-in-law Sandra of Atlanta GA, a daughter, Cheryl Kay Ferguson of Cleveland Heights, OH. He also leaves two grandsons; David Ferguson and his wife Sara Beth, Bradley Ferguson and his wife Emily, five great-grandchildren; Bennett, Clay, Haley, Charles, and Kathryn.

He was preceded in death by three brothers; Charles, Archie and Addison.

Family will receive friends at MCFARLAND & SON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, September 15, 2005 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the 11:00 AM service Friday, September 16, 2005. Rev. Rick Oaks from First United Methodist Church will officiate. A procession will follow to Crown Hill Burial Park.
