Andy O. Kubacko

Andy O. Kubacko, 84, of Warren, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Imperial Skilled Care Center. He was born March 16, 1924 in Cleveland, OH, and had lived in Northeast Ohio his entire life.

Mr. Kubacko had worked as a Preform Operator for Packard Electric and also enjoyed gardening and fishing. He had served in the Army during WWII, reaching the rank of Corporal.

Surviving are his three sons, Peter M. & Mary Kubacko of Charlotte N.C.; Andrew Kubacko of Cleveland; Kenneth A. Kubacko also of Cleveland; and two grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents and his wife of 56 years, Ann (Motz) Kubacko whom he married October 2, 1943 and who passed away May 7, 2000.

Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Rick Oaks of First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
