Andrew Damis

Andrew Damis, 87 ,of Warren, OH died at 5:00 AM, Friday, August 1, 2003 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital-Forum Center in Warren, OH from Congestive Heart Failure.

Born on Wednesday, December 1, 1915, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Constatine and Pauline (Swartz) Damis. He was a lifetime area resident. Mr. Damis retired from Copperweld steel co. in 1980 were he was a machinist for 40 years.

He married Josephine (Harley) Damis who preceded him in death on February 13, 1984.

Andrew is survived by three sons: William Damis and James C. Damis both of Warren, OH, Michael E. Damis of Lacey, WA and a daughter, Janet (Damis) Ainsworth of Warren, OH. Three sisters; Dorothy Harris of Lincolnwood, IL, Jenny Damis of Warren, OH, and Georgia Sotak of Niles, OH. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 Great grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a sister Mary Damis, a grandson and a great grandson.

Visitation will be at McFARLAND & SON FUNERAL HOME, 271 N. Park Ave., Warren, OH on Tuesday, August 5, 2003 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Graveside services will follow at Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday, August 5, 2003.
