Amelia M. Mayoros, 91, of Leavittsburg, died 8:30 PM Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at St. Joseph's Health Center in Warren. She was born Sunday, February 9, 1913, in Barton, Ohio, the daughter of the late John, Sr. and Amelia Borosky Savanyu, and moved to the area 70 years ago.
Mrs. Mayoros had worked at Packard Electric on the assembly harness and attended Covenant Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed baking pies.
Surviving Mrs. Mayoros are a son, John A. (Arlene A.) Mayoros of Leavittsburg; a daughter, Marjorie A. Marlowe of Leavittsburg; two grandsons: Chris J. Mayoros and James A. (Stephanie) Marlowe, both of Leavittsburg; and a great-grandson, Nathan J. Marlowe.
Preceding Mrs. Mayoros in death are her parents; her husband, Andrew J. Mayoros, whom she married October 3, 1936 and who died June 30, 1964; and a son-in-law, James Marlowe.
Services for Mrs. Mayoros are 10:30 AM Saturday, February 12, 2005 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. David Black officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday.
