Alyce M. Peterson

WARREN - Alyce M. Peterson, 97, died on August 30, at the Humility House in Austintown. She was born on February 3, 1918 in Ambridge, PA, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Effie (Raga) Pachuk.

Alyce was a graduate of N. Bloomfield High School, and was of the Methodist faith. She worked as a secretary for Trumbull Anesthesiologists for many years as well as for Standard Transformer. Alyce enjoyed quilting and gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

Memories of her will be carried on by daughters, Nancie L. Williams; Kathryn (Allan) Theall; sons, Eric (Rosemary) Peterson, Carl (Joann) Peterson, Jr.; sister, Martha Bookamer; grandchildren, Vikki Greene, Diane (Brian) Gordon, Debra (David) Dudgeon, Jason (Jamie) Williams, Raymond Porelle, Jeff Porelle, Tim (Sydney) Porelle, Judy (Joe) Makosky, Carl (Marsha) Peterson, III, Susan McCurry, Daniel Peterson, Christy (Frank) Marinelli, Elliott (Joanne) Peterson, Alisha Peterson, Eric Peterson, Jr., Madelin Peterson; 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.

Preceding in death was husband, Carl Sr., whom she married in 1937, and died in 1969, brothers, John Pachuk, Frank Pachuk, Nick Pachuk; sisters, Ann Peterson, Kathryn Chery; and son-in-law, Lyle Williams.

Friends are invited for a Funeral Service on Wednesday, September 2 at 12:00 pm at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, Warren, with calling hours one hour prior to the service. Committal services will follow the service at North Bloomfield Cemetery in their chapel.
