Alma Reppart

Warren, Ohio- Alma J. Reppart, 74, died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Windsor House of Champion. She was born on February, 16, 1942 in Lisbon, Ohio, the daughter of the late Gale and Traess Homan McVay.

Alma was a graduate of Youngstown City Schools after participating in the Mahoning Co. Program for Deaf Education. She was a member of Believers' Church and the Mahoning Valley Association of the Deaf. Alma was a homemaker and took great pleasure in cooking and baking. She enjoyed reading the Warren Tribune, going to church and attending her Deaf Club. Alma took great pride in teaching Sign Language to children and adults.

Memories of Alma will be carried on by her sons, Jack (Holly) Reppart of Southington, Dennis Reppart, Mathew Reppart and Mark Reppart, all of Warren and her daughter, Catherine Reppart Buchanan of Warren. She also leaves behind her brother, Pat McVay of Lisbon, Ohio and her grandchildren: Blaise Buchanan, Amanda Reppart, Heidi Reppart, Jenna Reppart and Alissa Prince.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brothers, Gale (Bud) McVay, Don McVay, Ken McVay, Clyde McVay and her sister Arlene McVay.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM preceding the 2:00 PM memorial service at Believers' Church of Warren. Pastor William Carter will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, her family suggests contributions be made in the form of donations to Believers' Church 2577 Schenley Ave. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.
