Alice Joan "Mi Mi" Young
October 1, 1936 — April 7, 2015
Alice Joan "Mi Mi" Young of Warren passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 5:25 p.m. in St Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown with her family by her side. She was 78.
Mrs. Young was born October 1, 1936, in Somerset, PA, the daughter of Sheldon and Mary Baldwin Suter.
She was a graduate of Somerset High School. Alice took great pride as a waitress. She was employed for numerous years at Buena Vista Café and Eat N' Park.
Alice was of Lutheran faith. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, listening to various types of music and appreciated spending time in nature. Most importantly she loved her family, especially she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Her husband Verlyn Ray Young, passed away April 3, 1976.
Surviving are: 5 children, Terry (Doug) Nutter of Cortland, OH, Vicky (Bret) Poling of Pataskala, OH, Kelly Crook of Warren, OH, Greg (Karen) Young of Lancaster, OH, and Chris (Diane) Young of Roswell, GA; 4 siblings, Patricia Wagner of Sarasota, FL, Lynn Suter of Sarasota, FL, Marjorie Baldwin of Mineral Ridge, OH, and Robert Suter of Somerset, PA; 9 grandchildren, Allison, Kia, Kyle, Chloe, Kendra, Ethan, Jordy, Alexandria, and Julia; 4 great grandchildren, Sebastian, Caden, Kaylie, and Kendall. In addition she is survived by her dog McGraw.
In addition to her parents and husband, Alice was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Stahl; a son-in-law Cecil Crook.
